Day 69. Boulia.

Leaving Mount Isa.

Eagles feasting on road kill.
Bike tree or some people's junk
Lots of rugged terrain and open plains on our drive today.
Young eagle eyeing off our lunch.
Stopped at Dajarra for lunch, halfway between Mount Isa and Boulia. Looked like a rundown town.

Arriving in Boulia.
Went to the Min Min light experience in Boulia. A light and animatronics display.
1939 Dodge truck, purchased for £198. Only 5 of this model were ever imported into Australia.

Check this little cutie out.

The colours as the sunset were spectacular again. We are free camping at the Boulia camel racecourse.

Evening star, sunset after glow, camp fire, peaceful environment and good company. What more could one want.

Beautiful clear sky for watching the stars. Saw a few satellites but no real Min Min lights. Wind picked up and it got chilly so we went inside early.

Today we travelled 309kms. Total travelled hitched is 5998kms.

Tomorrow we start to head East, continuing on the final leg of 'our journey in our Journey'.
