Day 3. Yeppoon

After fighting with the bedding, that wanted to be on the floor all night, I went for a walk along the esplanade to watch the sunrise. Unfortunately there was too much cloud cover. 1.9km

Moved on to Yeppoon via Rockhampton & Emu Park. A couple of pics taken along the way.

Driving through Rockhampton & crossing the Fitzroy River.

St Christophers Cathedral built by the Americans in 1943 during WWII.

Taken from Wikicamps

                                                                       Stone walls.

The war memorial in Emu Park is my favourite so far, closely followed by Maryborough. This is our 2nd visit to it.
                                                                     Singing ship.

Hopefully a couple of videos below.

We're staying at the Causeway caravan park.  Challenging sites to get into.
View across the road to the lake.
Went for a wander to explore. 1.8km
Sunset view from the causeway bridge

Today we travelled 196km. I walked 3.7km

Total travelled hitched 480kms.
