Day 58. Georgetown.

Gunther found a pair of boots hanging high in a tree so the boys thought they'd get them down for us girls.

A pair of Coight brothers.  Yvonne and I were in fits of laughter.  Pulling ropes this way and that.
Using the rope to pull a branch down.
They're still at it!
Still going.

Eventually they gave up.  The boots won. The rope broke and no one got new boots.

So this morning Y & G discovered what appears to be crocodile tracks in the sand near where we swam and kayaked yesterday. Went to check it out.

Lots of different tracks everywhere.

Took a selfie just incase we got eaten by the croc 😁 then whoever found my phone would know whose it was 🤪

Lovely quiet spot.
Roo tracks not far from our van.
Back on the road.

A couple of pics from the information centre.

We are staying at a caravan park in Georgetown.  $14 unpowered and it's pretty dry and run down. Spoke to a local who said there is fresh water crocs where we stayed last night 😶.
Think I'll stick to pools from now on.
Pool needed a clean but was refreshing.
Went for an afternoon walk but I forgot the camera so I guess I'll have to do that 2kms again in the morning.
We went for a second walk up to the golf club for dinner,  another 2kms.

Today we travelled 57kms taking the total hitched to 4735kms.
