Day 44. Moreton Telegraph Station.

Today is turn around day. We will be slowly heading back towards home,  with a detour to Karumba and a train ride on the Savannah Way. Y&G have headed off to Weipa to get their van.  We'll catch up with them again in a couple of days.

We stopped at Fruit bat Falls this morning.

Lining up for the Jardine River ferry crossing.

Gorgeous fruit bat Falls. We swam across and sat in the waterfall.

These were taken with Mark's GoPro in the water

Mark took these next 3 stunning shots with his mobile phone, looking over the water fall πŸ˜‘ He won't be left in charge of a camera again 😏

Nice spot of rain to dampen the dust.
  Roadworks have progressed.
Set up  at Moreton Telegraph Station

 Pics from the little museum.

The old ferry crossing

Woke to an unusual sound outside my window.

Went for a 2.8km bush walk before packing up.

Today we travelled 253kms taking the total hitched to 3,324kms.
