After a windy, wet night we decided to stay another night and go to Byfield State Forest for a walk, swim and picnic. We went to the local pottery gallery where everything was beautiful but expensive so just left a small donation. My favourite piece was $850!
The rather large kiln where the items are made.
Stopped at the tiny township of Byfield. The local school has 33 students. The general store was closed so we bought a coffee at a coffee van and supplied our own eats for morning tea.
A beautiful flower Yvonne spotted while we had coffee.
The view on the way to Stoney Creek.A couple of cms of water across the road.
After a picnic lunch we went for a walk. The long walk was closed so we did the shorter one.
Took the plunge in the icy water. Mark dived straight in.
Yvonne and I were a little more sedate.
Then it was off to Rosslyn Bay for fuel and home for a hot shower to warm up.
Washing done and relaxing by the lake 'blogging' & catching up with Beverley on the phone while others rested.
Wasn't going to put a 2nd pic but I couldn't resist as I snapped a seagull

Lovely photos...good times :))
