Day 6. Carmila Beach.

Early morning meander for me looking for a sunrise. The sky was pretty but I couldn't see the sun coming up.

Looking under the bridge back towards the caravan park.
Rocks at low tide.

A fish perched on a rock.
Another pic where this time I managed to catch 2 birds in action.

Today we are moving on. Hoping to stay 2 nights at Carmila Beach, before we catch up with Amanda and Geoff, in Strathdickie. Mark has stuff to get at the green man cave, aka Bunnings, in Rockhampton on the way through.

Stopped at Claireview for lunch by the sea. Mark looked for oysters as we found some 3 yrs ago when we stopped here. None this time. Pic taken through the van window.

We are camped at the beach 6kms east of Carmila. Telstra reception is almost non existent, even with our signal booster. We went for a 2.5km treasure hunt on the beach.

A lovely gentle breeze was blowing, waves were lapping quietly, clear skies, good company & food, what more could anyone ask for. Today actually feels like we're on holidays.

We travelled 282kms today.

Total travelled hitched 762kms.
