Day 25. Gordonvale ☔

Rained on and off during the night.  We're set up beside 2 hwys, Bruce & Palmerston, but the road noise wasn't really noticeable over night.

Went for a short walk, 1.2km, between the rain showers this morning.

Looking down on the Fred Drew rest area.

Quite a pretty spot.

Packed up and off by 9am. We have a massive 31kms to drive to Babinda boulders.

The water is crystal clear and cool.

Lots moss growing on trees.

Babinda town. Being Sunday very little was open.

Recycled horse.
Bomb shelter converted to a toilet block.

We are staying at a free camp in Gordonvale,  south of Cairns.
The pyramid.

It was $1 for lovely hot showers.  The cubicles were huge and I turned the water off before the hot water ran out!

Today we travelled only 72kms but we had a busy morning and a restful afternoon. Total travelled hitched 1683kms.
