Woke up way too early this morning. What I thought was sunlight was moonlight. Went for a 1km walk before 4.30am then went back to bed to warm up. No one but me and the Wallabies were out and about.
Today will be the start of our 3rd and final leg of the trip 🥺
We are heading to Normanton for a few days. 72kms away.
Morning tea beside the old bridge across the Norman River. They've turned it in to a great place to fish with rod holders, wood fired BBQ and a fish cleaning table at each end.No visible 🐊
At the information centre. A tribute to Indigenous stock men and bull riders.
Croc skull

Life size replica of the croc Kris killed.
We're staying at the Normanton Tourist Park. We have a powered site for a change & I'm enjoying sitting in the air-conditioning doing the blog. It's 32°.
Pics from around the van park.
Spa is warm artesian water.
First job after setting up was lunch then straight into the pool and spa. Pool is 25m in length & refreshing.
Walk around town, 2.7kms.
Railway station and museum.

We had dinner in the camp kitchen which is very well equipped and quite a good size. Early start tomorrow so early night.
Our maps looking pretty good. Red is what we have completed and green is what we still have to do.
Today we travelled 72kms taking the total hitched to 5180kms.
