Day 56. Undara experience.

Made the most of our surroundings this morning before heading off.

The creek was varying temperatures from warm to very hot depending on where you stepped.

    Cool pool at 23-25°
    32-34°
    34-36°
   The front pool is 41-43°
   38-40°

   Lunch stop.

Short bush walk in the dry rainforest.

A lone mango tree along the Savannah Way.

We've had trouble booking a tour and accommodation at Cobbold gorge so we won't be going there unfortunately. We did manage to book an overnight trip on the Gulflander train from Normanton to Croyden for next week 😁 We'll stay at Croydon Hotel for the night.
Bit of dirt road again today.
View from the deck at Undara.
Train carriages built in Ipswich and used in Mareeba in the early 1900s used for accommodation.

Bush walk to the bluff before dinner.

Dinner in a former train carriage.
Socialised around the communal fire pit for awhile.

We travelled 115kms today, taking the total hitched to 4589kms.
