Day 54. Granite gorge.

Early morning visitor. Crazy duck it was 10°

Today we are heading to Granite Gorge.  Mark and I have been here before a few years ago and enjoyed it, so happy to revisit.
Stopped in Mareeba to get a few essentials & had morning tea beside the cricket ground.

Residents at the campground.

Went for a walk/climb in the gorge. Lots of rock Wallabies.

The boys were a little more adventurous.

Interesting patterns on the rock.

Dinner in the camp kitchen and an early night after enjoying video calls with some of the grandchildren. Temperature is getting cool around 4pm now and definitely doonas on at night.

Today we travelled 107kms taking the total hitched to 4357kms.
